Elations View on recent GAIT II Clinical Study Results
Recently, the second part of the Glucosamine/Chondroitin Arthritis Intervention Trial (GAIT), funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), was published in the October issue of Arthritis & Rheumatism. The NIH’s news release regarding this research noted that the study had limitations and was inconclusive.
The first phase of the study (GAIT I) conclusively measured a statistically significant reduction in pain for moderate-to-severe sufferers who took Glucosamine and Chondroitin (at 1500 mg and 1200 mg respectively). Our product is optimally designed to deliver the maximum benefits from these key ingredients. We welcome additional research into understanding their ability to reduce joint pain. We stand in our belief that glucosamine and chondroitin provide a meaningful benefit to our users and we appreciate the thousands of people who have told us that their regular use of Elations has changed their life.
